Carbon counting is good for business

The article Carbon counting is good for business explains that since companies in the UK produce lots of greenhouse emissions, the government has created a law that asks companies to measure the emissions produced and create a report. This law has had a positive impact on the UK because companies are now controlling the use of energy and production of greenhouse emissions, which contributes to protecting the environment. If the company produces more than a certain amount of emissions they have to pay a fine. If the company doesn't have the money to pay the fine, it has to give the company to the government until they pay the money.

This article was interesting because I didn't know that this was happening in the UK. I think all governments should do the same as is done in the UK, especially in the countries that produce the most greenhouse emissions. By measuring greenhouse emissions produced by companies, we could protect our world and clean it from air pollutants.

This article makes connections with our world because if we don't take measures, all the air can get polluted and we will get sick and die. Another connection is that if we control greenhouse emissions, we are helping our world to be pollution-free.
