This law has had a positive impact on the UK because companies are now controlling the use of energy and production of greenhouse emissions, which contributes to protecting the environment. If the company doesn't have the money to pay the fine, it has to give the company to the government until they pay the money.
This article was interesting because I didn't know that this was happening in the UK. I think all governments should do the same as is done in the UK, especially in the countries that produce the most greenhouse emissions. By measuring greenhouse emissions produced by companies, we could protect our world and clean it from air pollutants.
